Paris Holt started his career at Xerox as a financial and M&A analyst where he learned TQM (Total Quality Management) from the management team who won the TQM Malcolm Baldridge Award.
For the last 10 ten years Mr. Holt has been in the communications industry where he has held management positions at some of the nation's most prominent wireless carriers such as Frontier Cellular and Southwestern Bell Mobile now Cingular where he headed up marketing and product development. At Frontier, he created and helped launched new pricing and rate strategies, including the nation's first wholesale / resale relationship with Time Warner. At Southwestern Bell, he was responsible for pricing and product development, where he significantly drove up market share, revenues, profitability and decreased monthly churn by bundling services on one convergent bill. Mr. Holt also worked for Ameritel Communications, a division of US Communications, where he, through successful negotiation of 8 resale contracts with wireless carriers across the country, created the industry's first nationwide wireless reseller. During his time with Ameritel, he oversaw the acquisition of over 80,000 wireless subscribers in less than six months, making Ameritel the third largest reseller in the country next to MCI and WorldCom. Mr. Holt diversified distribution channels, created brand identity, and developed and managed all national marketing and advertising campaigns. He also spearheaded corporate finance initiatives, such as evaluating acquisition targets, and worked with leading investment banks to raise over $150 million in capital.
In March of 1998, Mr. Holt realized that the resale marketplace was lacking a billing system that was customizable to the needs of the resale model and began putting together an R&D team of industry-leading technologists and executives and began developing technology, which over the last 5 years has culminated into the telSPACE back-office systems; the industry’s first turnkey convergent communications wholesale enabling platform, enabling any enterprise in any industry to become a nationwide provider of communications services including Cellular, Internet, Long Distance, Paging, Local, VOIP and even utilities such as energy. Mr. Holt has positioned telSPACE to be successful by securing the needed carrier relationships, channels of distribution, management team, supplier relationships, and capital.
Mr. Holt is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology College of Business where he majored in corporate finance and economics and minored in psychology. He has also completed graduate course work in pricing strategy, business economics, and total quality management.
